According to Jay,
“Kaya ‘Romantico’ yung title ng album, sinubukan naming love song lahat ng mga kanta du’n.”
This, to which drummer Allan Burdeos said
“Compared to our last album, hindi na siya ganung kaingay. We designed the album to be easy to sing along to. Pero hindi naman pop masyado.”
Love Rock is the theme of the album brought by Tanduay, one of Kamikazee's Major Sponsor. So ROMANTICO that Bordz himself decide to propose to her fiance on the album lunching, on stage, with the band. A first in pinoy history. Watch the video of the proposal.

Going back to the album and launching, the whole band, Kamikazee, wore a “Guns n’ Roses” inspired ensemble as they launched their new album. As their set ensued, copies of the album were bein’ literally thrown to the multitude. The rock gods were generous that night. They left kisses and smile on their fans faces. Doing comic jokes on stage and autograph signing after.

The album not yet 2 months on air and online but they already got an award on STARTriga on their OPM Award (Online Pinoy Music Awards 2011) as Best Hip-Hop/Rock Album of the Year. And the carrier single is topping various chart list including MYX.

Fearless Records and @PunkGoesSeries: Punk Goes Pop Vol. 4 and Goes Wild

Punk Goes Pop 4 is the upcoming twelfth compilation album in the Punk Goes... series. It is scheduled to be released on November 21, 2011 through Fearless Records. It is the fourth album in the Punk Goes Pop series. It contains a collection of modern pop music covers performed by various metalcore, post-hardcore and electronicore bands and artists. On September 22, 2011, MTV Buzzworthy announced the album's full track list.

Today's greatest artist in punk, post-rock, punk-rock, elctronic and semi-core band gathered together for this project. Bands, namely Pierce The Veil, Tonight Alive, Woe, Is Me, The Ready Set, Sleeping With Sirens, Go Radio, For All Those Sleeping, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, A Skylit Drive, Allstar Weekend, I See Stars, Silverstein, and The Downtown Fiction, revealed there pop-side and covered hits of the Pop World today.

Here's the album pre-order teaser. Watch and be amazed by the songs and artist. The song on the trailer/pre-order is the "Just The Way You Are" version of Pierce The Veil which is a original of the half-pinoy artist Bruno Mars. Me as a fan of Post-Core Bands, Pierce The Veil is one of the best i tell you, but i was personally shocked when i hear this version. It was great! I know PTV covers pop songs but disco type like "Like A G6" by Far Eastern Movement, but a slow song like this? this is good and they really deserve to be the opening song of the album.

Some of the Artist incorporate there own still to make the song more colorful for the Punk-Rock listeners like Woe, Is Me's Last Friday Night, A Skylit Drive's Love The Way You Lie and Sleeping With Sirens's F**k You. Woe, is Me is great on this covers remember their version of Ke$ha's Tik Tok, maybe that's why they are cool with pop covers. Mean while Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens diud a great job for Cee Lo Green's F**k You! His voice matches the intensity and mood of the song. so aggressive that you can dance and scream at the same time. And Here are The Other Tracks of the Album.

Patrick Stump on for Solo Career with "Soul Punk"

Soul Punk is the upcoming solo debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Patrick Stump, the lead vocalist, guitarist and composer of Fall Out Boy. Stump's solo project was officially announced in January 2010 and he later revealed his first album's title to be Soul Punk. It is the first major musical project undertaken by Stump since Fall Out Boy's hiatus in late 2009. The album is scheduled for release on October 18, 2011 through Island Records, with Stump officially announcing the release date on July 25 via Twitter and the internet. The album features no guest artists (besides a bonus remix track with guest vocals from Lupe Fiasco) or outside help and is the ultimate solo effort as Stump is doing everything entirely by himself: performing, composing the music, writing the lyrics, playing over ten instruments and producing the album. Stump has been often compared to Michael Jackson, whom he has cited as a major influence. He has commented on the album being "90% metaphors."

To promote Soul Punk, Stump has toured the U.S. twice and played dates in Europe, opened for Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae, played at Chicago and Japan music festivals, and is supporting Panic! at the Disco on their month-long U.S. fall tour. He is also doing extensive radio tours to support his record. Rolling Stone included Soul Punk in their "Fall Music Preview: The Season's Hottest Albums" and Spin listed it in their "30 Must-Hear Albums of 2011."

The album has so far received extremely positive reviews from music critics. Annie Zaleski, writing for Alternative Press, in a positive four-star out of five review, called the album a "brave, bold statement" and said the album's "pop sensibilities, clever phrasing and tight grooves will please fans." Alter The Press! described it as a "beautiful blend of 80s inspired electro R'n'B with a refreshing moral undercurrent." Chris Droney of Glasswerk was also positive of the album, writing that Soul Punk "hit every expectation with a deafening wallop" and that it deserves "more recognition than most" of the chart music present today.

Soul Punk has had tentative release dates delayed and unconfirmed dates on the internet. Stump originally completed the album in 2010 and had a tentative February 2011 release date but re-did the finished album after he came up with a song called "This City". For the album's delay, in place of it is a digital EP, Truant Wave, containing six songs, three of which he collaborated with other artists, released on February 22, 2011 on iTunes.

On May 9, 2011 Stump uploaded "Explode", a track from the upcoming record to YouTube. A song remix of a Soul Punk track titled "This City" featuring Lupe Fiasco was uploaded to YouTube and was later released to iTunes and other online outlets on July 26 as the album's first single. Its music video was premiered on Vevo on September 20. Stump revealed the album cover art on September 7, again done by Aakash Nihalani, whom previously did the art for Truant Wave. Soul Punk will also be available as a deluxe edition with additional tracks. The remix of "This City" is included as a bonus track on both album versions. iTunes' album preorders started on September 27 as well as physical CD preorders from Stump's webstore. With preorders from Stump's online store, a package with a lithograph by Roland Tamayo is available.

Bamboo: The Come Back with No Water No Moon

#bamboomusiclive - Good music never ends and one great artist never stops.

Just one spin of the most anticipated album in OPM rock this year, “No Water, No Moon," Bamboo Mañalac's first solo release under PolyEast Records, and it's clear there is life beyond his career as frontman. Teamed with the top musicians in the record industry, he presents his musical visions, saying in an interview,
Nothing’s changed. It’s the same pressure that I’ve always put on myself. Whether in a band or going out on my own, or whatever I do. Just wanting to push, claw and climb.

In a way, Mañalac has gone back to his jazz roots while heading toward to what he’s known for—mainstream pop rock genre. Featuring the first single “Questions,” Mañalac said,
“I felt this was a good intro to the album because it has a lot of colors and instrumentation that we have in the album in just one song. The song is personal but I thought it spoke of human experience.”
The first single will be released in radio stations on Sept. 22, 2011 at 10 a.m. via simultaneous airing nationwide.

Bamboo, who produced and wrote most of the songs, has been in the US for final mastering of the album. He has also been doing special performances there in order to showcase the new songs with the album meant for an international release.

Bamboo will be back in the Philippines after the tour in time for the album release. Album release date and debut video will be announced later this month.

Here's a shot during Bamboo & Gloc 9's Toronto leg of their North American tour - September 25, 2011 Live at The Opera House. Due to schedule conflicts, the crew were unable to finish the complete interview with Bamboo and Gloc 9.

New Album Radiosurgery from New Found Glory

Radiosurgery is the seventh studio album by American rock band New Found Glory. It is scheduled for release on October 4, 2011 through independent label Epitaph Records. To follow up Not Without a Fight (2009), the band began writing new material during their stint on the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. After self-producing a set of demos and contacting long-term record producer Neal Avron, the quintet went on to record the album in Avron's home recording studio over a period of three months in 2011. The band set out to write an album that paid homage to classic punk rock records that first inspired them to form a band during the 1990s. Listening extensively to the likes of early Green Day, Ramones, and Rancid, New Found Glory strove to create a sound that could "bridge the gap" between old and new generations of the genre.

The album title is a metaphor, referencing the actual medical procedure radiosurgery. The lyrics were directly inspired by events in the bands personal lives, after one member suffered a long-term relationship breakup. The album was written about the different stages an individual goes through after the separation, including feelings of regret, sadness, insanity and events such as one night stands. The band looked up several brain surgeries, later settling on Radiosurgery, using the idea that instead of using the procedure to remove a tumor from the brain, you could remove memories. The first official single from the album was title track "Radiosurgery", released on August 2.
